The Bears capped off an impressive weekend with a 4-1 win vs. St. Cloud and a
2-0 win over Uconn last night at the Meehan Auditorium. The Bears have much
improved since their loss last Friday to Yale when a coaching error started
goaltender Brian Ecklund in goal for the 1st period and Yale scored 4 goals
against Ecklund who has been in a bit of a slump as of late. Yann Danis came
in the 2nd period and held Yale for the rest of the game. Since the bears
have 3 wins, Princeton, St. Cloud and Uconn. The play of the 4th line
dominated mostly by freshman has been impressive, still waiting for that line
to get more ice time, but nearly every time they are on the ice they make
something happen. The play of Swon and Davidson has been impressive of late,
Swon is a very fast, good skater and Davidson levys some good hits and scoring
opportunities.

The Bears play for this weekend is much improved, while last night's game
against Uconn wasn't their best effort, it was still a solid performance. The
St. Cloud win was huge with very solid play all around, penalty killing and
powerplay performance was excellent.

The Bears face PC Tuesday night for the Mayor's Cup game at PC
