CC talent base and new talent, Lucia recruited, unglued some this season.
Another reason indentured players (new ones especially who could have skated
for other programs) should have the chose to bolt a school and not sit out a
year. The system may grant scholarships, but at what price? And, what about
players like Toby and the highly touted black player from California (the
irony about this is that NHL agents tried to get him to turn pro before his
frosh year). One season down the toilet. How will that affect their careers?
Amateurism is slavery.
Every time a player skates for a coach that hasn't recruited him, should he
kiss his lucky stars?
College at any price? Four years can hold a lot of ifs.
