I know this is a bit dated now, but I was exceptional busy and fell
way behind.  But I don't think the following point was ever addressed
here on HOCKEY-L.

Sasquatch wasn't actually pointing at the press box, though he was
pointing in
that area.  He was pointing at the championship banners as part of the
give
and take with the BC fans.  Since BC's last national championship was in
1949,
pointing to the banners was a response to some of the Eagle fans'
chants.
 
BTW, I don't think he was using his middle finger.  I just thought he
was
using his index finger.
