In that limited part of his post, Andrew generously gave the reader more
latitude than he intended. Last year, two one-goal losses to the national
champion could describe an effort that would get into overtime in the
championship game or just the equivalent of any other team in the universe.
In 42 games last season, Michigan had 17 one-goal wins among its 30 victories.
