Thank you Erik...  finally someone has said something sensible.  The ice
surface should only be cluttered with players and officials.  Throwing
objects on the ice, for whatever reason (including hatricks), delays the
game, creates a possible dangerous playing area, incites fans/players,
and ruins the credibility of the game.
