The dumbest idea I have seen on this list is the idea that animals are
killed simply for the purpose of throwing out on the ice, meaning if no
animals are thrown, then they are still running wild somewhere. The UNH
fish would still be on ice at the fish market, the SCSU gopher would be
burried in the hole he was caught in, and the Denver chicken would be
licked off someone's fingers.
 
However, the chicken thrown from the upper deck at the LA Forum during a
Kings game was senseless cruelty.
