John Whelan's note about Elliott playing the whole game got me thinking that
one minor spin off is that Jason Elliott has a much better chance of being a
Hobey Baker finalist if he plays 90%+ of Cornell's minutes. It's amazing
that no goaltender from Cornell has ever been a Hobey Baker finalist, mostly
because the award did not exist when phenoms like Ken Dryden, Brian Cropper,
Brian Hayward, and Darren Eliot were making the All-American teams look like
they had a required Cornell slot in goal.
