Let me put an end to this silliness once and for all.
RPI will NOT be moving to Hockey East nor the WCHA, nor will
they be joining a new league.
 
The truth is this: seems like Dan Fridgen is a closet reader
of Hockey-L. He was reading earlier this year how good RPI is supposed
to be next season so he decided to take the team and jump
to the NHL.  Didn't everyone know that Troy,NY was chosen
as an NHL expansion city.
 
His reasoning is that by taking his team to the Stanley Cup
next year, he might make almost as much money as Shawn Walsh.
