With only two weeks remaining, it's now possible to include
the head-to-head results between ECAC teams (adapted from Glen
Keeney's h2hp) into a thumbnail of the race, which is appended to this
message. The first column lists the teams. The second gives each
team's record in terms of points for and points against (total number
of points for the season being 44). The next two give each team's
remaining schedule. The twelve head-to-head columns show how many
points (out of 4) a team has notched against each opponent; an
asterisk indicates that there is still a game remaining between these
two teams.

Some observations:

        1. Cornell and Clarkson control their own destinies for the
regular season title. Looking at the tie breakers, Clarkson can claim
the title by getting seven points in their last four games; Cornell
needs eight to be sure.

        2. Cornell has clinched a top-six finish and a bye in the
preliminary round. They can clinch a home playoff berth with a win at
Union on Friday. Clarkson can also clinch a home berth with one more
win (based on projected record vs top four).

        3. As pointed out on INFO, eight teams, including Colgate and
Harvard, have clinched playoff spots, since Yale and Dartmouth play
one another.

        4. No new teams will clinch the playoffs on Friday, but Brown
would be eliminated if they lose to St. Lawrence and Dartmouth and
Yale both win.
