Congradulations to BU on winning the HE play-offs. The same to Providence for
a great run in the play-offs ... that 7-3 win over my Black Bears hurt, but you
played a great game and took advantage of every defensive break down Maine had.
Also congradulations all the final 12 esp BU, Maine and NH, bring the NC$$
championship back to HE!

Now for some observations; it appeared to me that the ref's were quick to call
Providence for a penalty, yet let Maine and BU get away with just about
everything. It appeared to me that the ref's clearly showed favoritism to the
two top teams. Now I was not there in person and only had 25" TV with Norton
color coverage, but what I could see was a lot of calls over looked when it
would have put Maine or BU down. Any other perspectives on this? I may have
missed a lot of behind the seens stuff out of camera view and only saw a
retaliation and the ref's were letting it go both ways.

Also this was very apparent in other games being played LSSU really beat
Michigan twice. The reply showed the ref hands on knees looking right at the
play... maybe his eyes were shut, or may be he is blind, or maybe he was taking
a knap... I don't know. But it sure looked like the top team got the more
favorable calls.

One last observation, it looks to me like BU got the worst of the draw when
compared to Maine... this year. I think LSSU might be the hottest team around.
Also, Clarkson is much better then folks are willing to give them credit.

        Nick
