A lot of people on this list use NC$$ instead of NCAA because
of the NCAA's reputation of being more concerned with money
than almost anything else. Trademark has nothing to do with
it. The owner of a trademark does not have power to restrict
references to the trademark, unless, of course, an entity
wants to name itself or a product the same as another company
or product. (This is really general. There are exceptions,
like Delta Airlines does not manufacture Delta faucets; the two
are not in the same industry.)
