The final sticking point is apparently the age at which a player becomes
a free agent.  The players want 30 and the NHL wants 32.  The NHLPA was
supposed to have a conference call with other 100 players at 1:00 and the
NHL was supposed to have a conference call at 1:30.  Another person said
they had heard that players were told to be ready to practice tomorrow!
