During last night's Portland Pirates season opener the announcers mentioned
a few ex-collegians so I thought I'd pass along there whereabouts to anyone
who might wonder where they are now:
 
  Mike Boback (Providence) is again an Alternate Captain with the Pirates.
  Scott Fraiser (Dartmouth's leading scorer last season) is with the
   Fredericton Canadiens and scored two goals last night against
   the Pirates.(But we still won 7-4  :-> )
  Jason Weinrich (NYA [gotta give the alma mater a plug  :->] and UMaine)
   is now playing with the Worcester Ice Caps.
  Mike Dunham (UMaine) was sent down to the Albany River Rats.
  David Emma (Boston College) was also sent down to Albany.
 
Also, a Brian Downey was introduced last night at the Pirates' game,
but he wasn't on the roster, so I don't know if it is the same Brian
Downey who played for UMaine.
