Boston University defeated Northeastern tonight (Saturday), 3-2.

With the win BU clinches their first ever regular season HE crown.
This is the first time that the regular season HE trophy has gone to a team
other than BC or Maine.

This game was ugly, as many in Matthews Arena (NU) tend to be. The bizarre
bounces off the boards and horrible ice make for interesting games.

This game was a snoozer until the final 3 minutes. Even then, it was not
exciting unless you were a BU fan (and even that's pushing it).

NU had a 2-1 lead going into the final few minutes of play before BU's 2-goal
comeback.

This game was ugly, but highlighted by some good goaltending on both ends.
Reynolds played very well for the first two periods, making a few spectacular
saves. The problem came about when NU carried the play for most of the third,
keeping BU from putting many shots on net (if any). When BU decided to pick
it up after the TERRIER's cheer, Reynolds was cold, having not seen the puck
for a while. BU scored two goals that were not anticipated by the fans and
managed to sneak away with a win at NU.

It was also a relatively clean game in which the refs did a good job and were
pretty consistent.

BU now has to try and avoid a let-down when they travel to UNH Tuesday to make-
up a snowed out game from earlier in the season.

So it's now Michigan, Harvard, and BU... so how close are we to having a WCHA
regular season champ?
