Greetings, MELibbers and MELibertarians! A brief Monday morning reminder
about the good things coming your way should you manage to survive this
week: This Friday is the inaugural MECollab gathering of programming,
community engagement and outreach librarians and library workers (and
anyone who has hopes/dreams/aspirations/evil plans of making their library
an even more fun, connected and collaborative environment). MECollab aims
to bring libraries (and librarians) together to collaborate on innovative
and outside-the-box cross-community programming and special projects.
Curious? Furious? Either way, join us for a casual gathering to brainstorm
ideas and new and creative ways libraries can collaborate to bring
programs, discussions, learning events and the like to a wider audience.
Think BIG. Think WEIRD. Think COLLABORATIVE. Think CREATIVE. Bring your
ideas and your good humor (or fury) to Flight Deck Brewing
<https://www.flightdeckbrewing.com> in Brunswick, ME this Friday, June 9 at
2 p.m. for a group discussion and idea share. It’s going to be the ME
library event of the season! Or at least of the day.
Planning on coming? Let us know here: https://forms.gle/ew1Qj2qCQstcUtw8A
Can’t make it on Friday, but want to be on the email list for future
meetups? Fill out the form at the above link!
Questions? Reach out to Kelly (Prince Memorial, Cumberland) at
