A teacher is looking to replace Lord of the Flies with something more
contemporary which students could also compare with To Kill a Mockingbird.
Suggested social issue themes for this book are loss of innocence, gender
misogyny, coming of age, discrimination, etc.  The book will be read by
high school sophomores.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
