Tax season has officially started and we need your help in promoting the Maine Public Library Fund income tax check-off.

If your public library is part of the van delivery service, you will be receiving some promotional materials this week to help spread the word about the Maine Public Library Fund income tax check-off.  If you aren't on van delivery and would like posters and bookmarks for your library, please send me an email and I'll mail you a packet. 

Informational website for tax check-off

Several Maine libraries have added content to their site to provide information about the check-off.  Thank you!  If your library does not have a page yet, you can link to an informational page on the Maine State Library website that provides background on the Maine Public Library Fund. Other content for your library website

The easiest way to promote the check-off on your website is to place a preformatted image buttons on your homepage.  We have a few different sizes of image buttons and banners available and I'm happy to create custom size to fit your website. The first eight libraries to add one of the image buttons to their homepage will receive a signed copy of E.B. White on Dogs.  The book was compiled by White's granddaughter, Martha White, and the books are compliments of the Friends of the Maine State Library.
