Hi Brenda,
We have an electric typewriter for our use, but your patron could surely
use it if he wishes.

We are the Oakland Public Library on 18 Church St., Oakland, ME 04963. Our
phone # 207-465-7533

> Hello everyone,
> I have a patron in search of a public access typewriter. This patron has
> military-style forms that have multiple folds. The documents are mostly
> filled out, but the patron needs to add information at the bottom of one
> or more folds. In the past, data was added with a typewriter.
> Unfortunately, the situation is not easily remedied by computer. The
> patron has visited antique stores to obtain a working typewriter without
> success. It's a long shot, but does anyone know of a library or other
> location with a public access typewriter?
> For context, the patron would be traveling to the typewriter from
> Western Maine, in the general vicinity of Norway/South Paris.
> I appreciate your help!
