Yesterday our Afternoon Book Discussion gathered to discuss The Four Ms Bradwells by Meg Waite Clayton.  We were privileged to start the discussion with a skype chat with Ms Clayton, who was warm, down-to-earth, and passionate about her writing.  Clayton, who also authored The Wednesday Sisters writes about women's friendships in the midst of larger issues such as women's rights and mother/daughter relationships. The book is a great one for discussions; there are several themes expressed, and I think our group could have gone all afternoon with it.

Due to the fact that copies of the book were not available in the Minerva system, we wound up buying a few copies.  After our discussion, the members of the group felt that this was a book that many groups would enjoy discussing, and expressed a desire that the copies we purchased could be used to lend to other groups.

Therefore, I now have 6 copies of The Four Ms Bradwells.  Any book discussion group that would like to borrow them for their own discussion please contact me and I'll ship them out to you.
