The Maine Adult Education Association will host an all-day [8:30 am to 4:00 pm] virtual conference on Friday, December 3, 2021. Speakers include Yellow Light Breen, CEO of Maine Development Foundation; Libby Bishof, USM Professor of History and Executive Director of the OSHER map Library; Wendy Smith, incarcerated at the Southern Maine Women's Re-Entry Center; Samara Cole Doyon, author of the children's book "Magnificent Homespun Brown"; and Judith Rosenbaum, Assistant professor at the University of Maine, who will discuss "Rethinking Democracy in a Social Media Age."
Cost of registration is $50. Continuing Education grants are available through the Maine State Library if you wish to apply to offset the cost: https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/ce/stipends.htm
