As we close out the CMLD Association, the board has decided to fund a 2-day conference registration (up to $250)  for 20 librarians in the CMLD geographic area.  You can be from an academic, public, school or special library as long as the library is within one of the counties served by CMLD:  Androscoggin, Franklin, Lincoln, Kennebec, Oxford, Sagadahoc or Somerset.  

First time attendees or those who haven't attended the conference in the past two years will be given preference.

The application process is very simple.  The money will go directly to MLA not to individual recipients.  We will be in communication with MLA to insure that your registration is properly credited once your application is accepted.  

The application is available at http://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/ce/index.shtml  in the Feature section on the right side of the page.   Registrations will be awarded as applications are received so the first 20 people to apply will receive free registration.  The deadline for submitting an application is October 21, 2016.  Faxed, scanned/email applications are encouraged.
