Princeton's first game on their European tour will be against the
German National under-20 team. The other two games will be against
German and Swiss club teams.
Coach Cahoon says he hopes the trip will build team unity. He admits
that over his first two seasons as the Princeton head coach, he has not
been happy with the leadership of the seniors. On road trips, the
seniors would typically be at one end of the bus and the freshman the
other. The hope is that 10 days of living and eating together on this
trip will pay dividends when their ECAC schedule resumes after the New
Year.
Princeton currently has a four game unbeaten streak (wins over Colgate
and RPI, ties against Cornell and Union) for the first time in three
seasons. They have not had a five game unbeaten streak in nearly 50
years. Princeton has not lost to RPI during Cahoon's tenure as head
coach; they are 4-0-1 against RPI since Cahoon took over at the start
of the 91/92 season.
