It might deserve that much, but my gut says "no".  :-)

I just hope the NCAA comes to their senses and expands the tournament to
16 teams ...  not so much because 4 more "deserve it", definitely not
that it will help determining the last few teams, but that the top 4
teams won't have such an incredible advantage of playing a team that
played the night before.  It's worth an advantage, but not that much.  A
16-team tournament gives a more fair advantage ...  the higher your
seed, the weaker the teams (by seed) you must play.
