In an article that appeared in the Berlin Tagesspiegel just before the
US-Germany game, it was claimed that 3 US players were NHL players, a few more
played in the minors and the rest were from colleges.
That doesn't seem to be the case, reading the stats just posted.
I think it was part of a blurb by the German coach, maybe an attempt to
make the US squad look less formidable?
