Depending on the way things work out (i.e. if Princeton had a successful run
in the ECAC Final Five but did not win the tournament, Quinnipiac won the
MAAC tournament, and there were a couple surprise conference champions)...

Princeton could end up being the 13th team on the tournament list and would
need the tournament selection committee to exclude Quinnipiac in order to
obtain a birth in the tournament.

This is my fourth season following the Tigers and thoroughly enjoyed the
very exciting show at Baker Rink on this past Saturday.

However, I will still maintain that should Quinnipiac obtain the trifecta of
a conference regular season title, a conference tournament title, and a slot
in the top 8-12 of the pairwise rankings (depending on tournament champion
surprises), I would advise the tournament selection committee to select
Quinnipiac.

(even if it is at the expense of Princeton).

In my opinion, a Division I game is a Division I game regardless of what
conference the D1 team is from.
