Regarding Pam Sweeney's notation about Northern Michigan's psyche
job injury reports...
 
Dallas Drake DID break his foot on Jan. 22 and missed our series with
Minnesota-Duluth because of it.  At that time it was believed that he
would be out a month.  As it happens, he began to skate lightly last
week and decided to give it a try against the Gophers.  It was not
determined that he would play until Friday (the day of the first NMU-
Minnesota game).
 
The fact is, he does have a broken foot (one may have noticed the
protection he was wearing on his skate) and, despite scoring two
goals vs. Minnesota, was not at 100 percent.
