Who can forget the epic battle between St. Cloud State, under the direction of
Herb Brooks, and Wisconsin-River Falls in February of 1987 when they brawled
during warmups with no officials on the ice (they came out of their dressing
room after the fight was well underway). A total of 10 players were given game
DQs (five apiece) for fighting.
