The Ferraro twins were drafted by the Rangers, but instead of going to
Binghamton, the Rangers' AHL affiliate, they signed with an IHL team. The
Rangers were upset, but the twins played out the season in the IHL. The next
year, however, they returned to the Ranger organization and played at
Binghamton--my impression is that the Rangers viewed the year spent in the
IHL as a lost year.
