You know, this is at least the second time I've had to read a slap at the
Michigan Hockey Band. I'm forced to wonder why. Is it because we are an
energetic group that stays behind our team even when we're losing? Is it
because we refuse to whore ourselves out by playing other teams' fight
songs? Guess what, folks. We have our own fans. We don't need to rally
the locals to get some people cheering. Is it because we didn't win?
You know, I really wanted to score that tying goal myself. I got rid of
my trombone and had my skates on, but Coach wouldn't put me in.

In other words, get a life. Cheer for your team; don't insult or taunt the
other schools' bands. It's really a shame that a team that wins with
class cannot have fans who do the same.
