        I'm surprised they didn't put ten seconds back and reset the
clock to 3:47 (when the penalty was supposed to end).  After all, even
if BU didn't score, it was ten more seconds that Merrimack was on the
penalty kill while trying to mount a comeback.  Then of course the
question is what if Merrimack had scored shorthanded in those ten
seconds.
 
        Not quite so bad as the 1995 MIT-Caltech game, when they
played 30 seconds with the wrong team on the power play.  The
officials put the time back on the clock and started over.
