A friend of mine who's from Cincinnati was sort of laughing about the
state of Riverfont Coliseum long before last year's Frozen Four debacle.
Apparently, it pretty much only gets used for the circus and the
occasional concert. The Cyclones (IHL), Silverbacks (NPSL), and Xavier
basketball use the Cincinnati Gardens, and UC basketball uses their own
arena.

From what I can tell, using the Riverfront Coliseum for these events is
similar to putting them in the Richfield Coliseum (outside of
Cleveland/Akron) ten years from now. "Hey, that arena's been empty for 15
years...let's put some of our biggest events there..."
