As Dave has mentioned before here, and reported on Around the Rinks is ... at
Boston University, you have 1 year to make up incompletes.  This goes for all
students.  He took incompletes in all classes.
 
Now, obviously, he can just drop out entirely right after hockey season without
ever really having a complete class, and yet played in almost a whole season.
It's very likely considering the Islanders' need for scoring.
 
But it's all on the up and up with BU, and is consistent with the policy toward
all students (according to Dave).
