I already brought up the OSU game debacle, but lets go the other way.
What if BG had been able to get say..... Maine and lost 57-0.  BG would
be in the top ten this way as well even with this.  They should get a
computer system that give extra not to SOS, but to wins against good
teams.  That is what they do in hoops so why not here?  Therefore in
hockey the object should be to have a small conference 6-8 that gets a
berth, so all teams will be OK and have one or two dominient and then at
least 3 will always get in do to the 'computer'.
Add in some human factor or else in hoops the last two years Tulsa in 94
and Manhattan 95 would not have gotten in.  There were teams that were
higher ranked.
