Yes James, it was for real. There were witnesses. :-)

BU may well have been suffering the post-Beanpot blues, but PC earned this
one. Bob Bell was stupendous in goal, stoning several good chances early
in the game. The PC defense remembered how to clear the puck, and the
few rebounds Bell gave up were quickly disposed of. On offense everything
just clicked for the Friars which when combined with Herlofsky probably
not having his best night in net led to what had to have been PC's biggest
win yet under their new coach.

Pooley commented on the radio before the game that a month ago when BU came
to town he may have shown them to much respect. This resulted in a very
tentative team setting back on their heals (heels?) and down 5-0 by the end
of the first period. Tonight the Friars survived the first 10 minutes of
the game (their weakpoint all season) and then just played hockey. With
a couple goal lead they got some of the confidence they've been missing all
year and at times totally took over.

I haven't looked at Ron C's box yet, but Chad Quennville had a hat trick
and George Breen I believe had 3 or 4 assists. The BU goal came on a 5x3.
