The one stat that *is* affected is plus/minus. Goalies do not get
plus/minus ratings, but extra skaters do. So when UIC pulled its
goalie and scored at 6 on 6 (5), the six Flames on the ice each got
a plus 1 and the five Bronco non-goalies on the ice each got a minus 1.

Plus/minus is not counted on power play goals, so here's how +- went
during the game:

Goal by Score Plus/minus assigned
WM 1-0 None (pp)
WM 2-0 WM+4, IC-4 (4x4)
WM 3-0 None (pp)
WM 4-0 None (pp)
WM 5-0 WM+5, IC-5
WM 6-0 WM+5, IC-5
IC 6-1 IC+6, WM-5 (IC no goalie)
WM 7-1 WM+5, IC-6 (IC no goalie)
IC 7-2 IC+6, WM-5 (IC no goalie)
WM 8-2 WM+5, IC-6 (IC no goalie)
IC 8-3 None (pp)
IC 8-4 None (pp)
WM 9-4 WM+4, IC-6 (sh, IC no goalie)

So, they WMU players tallied: +4+5+5-5+5-5+5+4 = +18
and the UIC players got: -4-5-5+6-6+6-6-6 = -20

What a scorekeeper's nightmare.....
