I agree. Sure, it was probably worth a 2 minute minor, but I think the
penalty shot was uncalled for. The "Zoo Crew", as I've heard it called,
was in the building tonight. Even I, a Brown student, thought the heckling
got a little out of hand occasionally.

This game was the best game I've seen Brown play in a long time...since
before the break (I didn't get to see them during the break, though).
It still doesn't seem to me like Brown is up to the level they were back
in November. Missed passes, and the defense always seems to be scrambling.
Tuesday and today, it seemed like the opposing team was always right there
at the puck and all over the brown defense. Tonight was much improved over
Tuesday vs. UNH, though.

This game easily could have been 4-2 Brown. The puck slid in about half a
second after the final buzzer of overtime. But my question is this: I was
standing over the Yale net in the second period when there was a scramble
and a couple of rebounds, and the puck flirted with the line--it was about half
over (crossed the front but not the back). I was told the light went on, but
the official waved it off. Was this a goal? Where does the puck have to
cross?

The mini-box goes like this--sorry I don't have more.

Yale 2 0 0 0--2
Brown 0 2 0 0--2

Brown plays Princeton tomorrow at 7:00 at The Meehan.
