actually, the game was reasonaby even, the difference being
goaltending,  and the penalties were, to me, more indicitave of the
officiating, not the play.  many of them were coincidentals.
 
i thought the difference came at the end of the first when air force
could not score on over 100 seconds of 5 on 3 advantage.

i'd estimate about 1500 to 2000.  there was one section of about 25
loyal (and loud) engineer faithful who happened to be in the section
just below Jayson Moy and Kurt Stutts WRPI broadcast boot, so i
imagine their broadcast picked up this group petter than the air force
fans.  of course the visitor fans had more to cheer about.
 
by periods the score was
USAFA 1 1 1  3
RPI   1 3 3  7
 
stat sheets weren't ready when i left.
