I was at that gamne and have to point out that this game could have gone either
way. The score was 3-2 after one and the play at the start of the second period
definately favored Dartmouth. Brown however capitalized on a scoring chance and
pulled to a 4-2 lead. Dartmouth then scored a short-handed goal, so that the
gap was once again one goal. In the third period Dartmouth was assessed a bench
minor, and Brown scored a controversial power-play goal. The whistle had
sounded clearly before the puck ever crossed the goal line. This goal decided
the game as Dartmouth was not able to overcome the two goal defict.
Dartmouth didin't execute as well as it could have, which is the most
telling reason why they lost, yet they did hve an opportunity to win the game.
