Today's Tribune summarized the NCAA semis in the "Briefs" section,
 directly under a report that Danny Manning would miss three games
with the Atlanta Hawks due to a staph infection.
 
The solution here: Get UIC to serve as host institution for an upcoming
NC$$ West Regional. Hold it at either the Rosemont Horizon (home to
 the new Chicago Wolves) or the new United Center (a longshot). Have
the Badger faithful show the Chicago media that football is (rightfully)
 secondary in Madison.
 
Excuse me, I'm off to watch Carthage baseball vs. UW-Whitewater. This
 is a Lutheran school, for pete's sake. How come I'm workin' on Good
