When I was a wee lad growing up in the Minneapolis hinterlands (Nordeast, to be exact) I recall Bob Kurtz
calling Twins games on KMSP-TV.
 
What does this have to do with college hockey? His partner at the time was Larry Osterman...who is now
the color analyst on PASS's CCHA coverage (now part of Prime Network's game o' the week). A small,
small world...
 
Other moonlighting jobs...Chris McClure (a nice guy, but who reminds me of Phil Hartman's "Troy
McClure" character on "The Simpsons") still shows up at about 3 a.m. covering Indy Lights racing on
ESPN.
