I think I saw (in yesterday's Globe) that the Rookie of the week was a
player from Providence.  I'll go look it up...  *shuffle* *shuffle*
 
Yeppers...  According to the January 11th, Boston Globe:
 
                        HE Rookie of the Week:
                    Goalie Dan Dennis, Providence
 
Not sure on the exact figures, but he stopped 34 out of 38 shots in
the first two periods alone in Providence's 5 to 4 upset victory over
BU. *sniff*
 
He definitely earned it, as there were a number of "on the doorstep"
shots, especially in the second period.
