Just wondering.....

How come when two players from different teams get called for "matching"
penalties (simultaneously, that is), sometimes both teams skate at full
strength (5-on-5) and sometimes they skate 4-on-4? I put matching in quotes
because I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.

Anyway, if anyone understands what I'm trying to ask, I'd appreciate it if
they could answer it!

Thanx in advance!
