NCAA Narrows Field for Future Frozen Four Sites
Wednesday, June 7, 2000
by Jayson Moy
http://www.uscollegehockey.com/news/2000/06/07_frozensites.html

My summary:

* NCAA working on selections for 2004-2006 sites

* those making the cut are: Boston, Columbus (OH), East Rutherford, NJ, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis and San Jose, CA.

* bid cities will make presentations July 18, decision coming in August.

* consensus is that Boston is a lock based on success of 1998 Frozen Four.

* Supposedly these cities also made bids: Atlanta, Orlando, Anaheim, Grand Forks (ND), Albany, Providence, Madison (WI), Denver, Nashville and St. Paul (MN).
