The latest word is Gophers sophomore goaltender Erik Day of
Elk River will miss the upcoming season and is questionable
for the 1999-2000 season after undergoing knee surgery.
Incoming freshman Adam Hauser will be the starting goalie.
Minnesota coaches hope junior Willie Marvin can replace Day,
but are in search of another goalie from a thin list of
recruiting prospects.
 
**** - sounds like they contradict themselves, who's the
actual starter?  It says Adam Hauser, but then says they
hope Willie Marvin can replace Day, who was supposed to
start.
