I really don't want to start a long argument on this, but the fact
of the matter is that these hockey teams ARE Division I.  They must
comply with the exact same rules as the other D-I programs, are
classified as D-I by the NCAA, and -- if they would play enough
games against other D-I opponents -- could be considered for the
NCAA tournament.  One can question the quality of these programs
compared to say, Boston Univ. or Vermont or Ferris State, but not
their "rating."
