Ferris State won its CCHA opener Friday over Alaska Fairbanks, 7-2.
Seven Bulldogs scored goals -- Val Passarelli, Phil Sturock, Scot Bell,
Mike Olaski, Derek Crimin, Brett Severson and Greg Paine.  Jeff Blashill
made 25 saves for the Bulldogs, who are 3-3 overall and 1-0 in CCHA.
FSU hosts Michigan State Saturday nite.  UAF got power play goals from
Greg Milles and Fred Scott while goaltender Ian Perkins had 17 saves for
the Nanooks who are 2-3-1 overall and 2-2 in CCHA.
