You read right...these are all the details I have, but Indiana (#3
Division II) travelled to Champaign, IL to take on the Illini (#4
Division I), and WON!!!!!!!!!!! An overtime goal by either Ryan McMahon
or Gary LaBarge (the guy I talked to just said that everybody piled on
and he couldn't remember who scored it) gave the Hoosiers a 3-2 win on the
oversized Champaign rink. The Illini returned the favor on Saturday with
a 6-1 win, but that's of little consequence. A split was almost dreamed
of in Bloomington, and that's what we got!
Indiana's next games are this weekend when they host Ohio State.
Friday's game is at 9:30, and Saturday's is at 6:15.
