Oh what a time for your first road win in the WCHA this season!
The michigan tech Huskies, on the Shoulders of Jamie Ram came away
with a 3-2 victory at CC tonight.  Ram held the penalty prone
Huskies in the game in the first period as he made 20 saves
on 21 CC shots.  The first ended 1-1.  Tech outscored CC
2-1 in the second.  (2 apparent cc goals were not allowed, one with the
net off the moorings, and one when the whistle had blown just before the
shot.)  Jamie made 13 saves in the second and 10 more in teh scoreless
third period as the Huskies held on for the win. Ram finished the game
with another 43 saves added to his all time Huskie leading saves total.
 
The Huskies were the only WCHA Road team to win tonight, and I believe
UIC beat Michigan State for the only ccha road win tonight.
