I apologize for the lack of hockey content here, but clarification
seems necessary to maintain whatever respect exists for my views out
there. :-) Especially since I have heard from a couple of people
regarding this.

Earlier today, I posted:
> ...It seems more than a little
>fishy that the judge who handed down the decision is from Maine - and,
>I was told, elected and thus accountable to the voters there and not in
>any of the other states which have HE teams? Hmm...an unbiased person
>would think something's rotten in Bangor, but I'll make no comment...

There was supposed to be a smiley after this; it was meant to be
humorous, but I dashed that post off so fast that it certainly seems
more harsh than I intended. I apologize for that. And, that was
supposed to read "a BIASED person...". I had heard some complaints
from people about a Bangor judge making the ruling, but I intend to
give him every benefit of the doubt at least until I have read more
about the reasons for the decision.

One other question: can HE appeal THIS ruling and have things restored
to the way they were after last Friday? I'm trying to think about
what the next step might be, and I apologize in advance for my lack of
knowledge on how the appeals process on restraining orders works.
Either way, it sounds as if BU is certainly planning to play.
