York Public Library’s Annual Book Sale (& Raffle) is coming up this week!
Thousands of gently used books will be on sale along with DVDs, puzzles and
music CDs. All proceeds benefit the Library.
Book Sale Hours:
Preview Night ($10.00 admission) Thursday, July 16 5-7 p.m.
Friday, July 17, 10 a.m .- 5 p.m.
Saturday, July 18, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Raffle:
There are two prizes this year:
Samsung Galaxy Tab® 4 NOOK® 7.0 (value $149.99) already loaded with Google
play, Wi-Fi, GPS, apps, E-readers available on multiple platforms, front and
rear cameras. Retails for $149.
A York Public Library book bag with gift certificates from local shops
(thanks to Anthony’s Food Shop, White Heron Tea and Coffee Community and
Nancy’s Café and Catering for some of the donated items), and 7 bestselling
books, including: “Dead Wake” by Eric Larson, “Girl on the Train” by Paula
Hawkins, “Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee, and “Real Maine Food: 100 Plates
from Fishermen, Farmers, Pie Champs and Clam Shacks”. ($325 retail value)
Raffle tickets are on sale now at the main desk on the upper level. $5.00
each or 5 tickets for $20.00. The winning tickets will be drawn at noon on
July 18th.
